They did a fabulous job on the holder. It works perfectly in my Instant Pot and on the grill. If you lower your oven rack you just place the rack with the chicken on it under broiler to crisp up skin. Highly recommended!

Debbiedoo’s sent me an email very shortly after I purchased this product. I just happened to open the email just before heading off to the store to buy groceries for a big meal I make for my fellow officers to enjoy on Christmas day during their tour of duty. I had another huge chunk of beef I had going in my Weber, and lots of sides also in the works. A couple of the guys don’t do red meat, so I needed a quick fix for another protein alternative. Pressure cooking a whole chicken in the Instant Pot seemed to be the perfect solution! I took a huge chance by purchasing the Beer Can Chicken Holder and boy, did it pay off! Anyway, I opened the email before heading off to the store and I read that they recommended a whole chicken that was under 4 lbs. I took their advice and when I got home, emailed them back and asked how long I should cook it for (I was in a serious tie crunch and wanted to save some research time). They responded almost immediately. So, as I was frintcailly preparing everything else, I put a cup of water in the cooker, secured the can of beer (minus a sip here and there) and added the well seasoned (inside and out_ chicken. I selected the pressure cook option, hit 15 minutes and off it went, as I did, running around with other chores! Can you imagine? I was able to set a pressure cooker and run off to do other things with no safety concerns! After manually releasing the pressure, I pulled out the bird and was just amazed! Let’s be clear on a few things: I was cooking for 20 people on shift work, I was cooking many things at the same time, haven’t used a pressure cooker in years and when I did, it was with coaching. To top it off, I’m a vegetarian! I must trust my equipment and taste testing is not an option! It is suggested to put the bird in the oven to create a nice sear but I didn’t find it necessary. It looked great as is! Though it looked great right out of the Instant Pot, I carved it and made an awesome little presentation! I wish I had made more chicken but as it was a special request, I only made that one! As a vegetarian, I really don’t get the meat thing, but I enjoy cooking and making people happy! I use my Weber charcoal grill for my friends and have made many a beer can chicken. This new Holder makes any beer can chicken recipe even easier, as there are handles!!!! The handles were awesome as I was retrieving the chicken from the Instant Pot. I imagine it will be even easier lifting it out from a traditional grill!

Well made, will last a life time. My first use was to pressure cook four of the biggest baked potatoes I’ve ever seen in my Ninja Foodi. They came out perfect. I highly recommend this accessory for a pressure cooker.

Nice and simple to use with instapot cooker. Solid construction, easy clean up, held a large whole chicken with room to spare.

Heavy enough to hold up to the heat of the grill and the wide base ensures that the bird won’t tip over. It fits in the Instant Pot, which was originally why I bought this. Chicken cooked on the holder will taste great but the skin doesn’t brown like on the grill or in the oven. If you use rotisserie chicken to make other dishes, you could replace them with your own flavor profile cooked at home.

I used this rack to make a 7.25 pound chicken. (The instructions are for a 4 pound bird.)It worked beautifully! The chicken was very stable and easy to handle. I made it in the oven, and the meat was perfect- juicy and flavorful. An added benefit is that all the skin crisps, so everyone can have a piece. (I know some people don’t eat the skin, but my family LOVES it!)There are four skewers on the rack for potatoes or corn, but because my bird was so large, I couldn’t use them. With a smaller bird, they would be very easy to use.I would recommend this without hesitation.

I made my first beer-can-chicken in my new Instant Pot. I followed the accessory directions using a 5 pound chicken and spiked 2 baked potatoes along with it. The meat was very moist and fell off the bone. The potatoes were perfect. Am very pleased.
