It is grilling season, time to try my Air Fryer Pepper Jack Stuffed Porky’s! Hey y’all, this is Jennifer from JENRON DESIGNS. Today I am sharing one of our summertime treats that will have you eating like a little piggies because this stuffed little piggy does not disappoint!

Now I feel like I owe you an explanation about this whole name thing; I know you’re probably like “Ewww Jen, really?” However, it really is a fitting name given the two types of pork used in this recipe. Plus when you see how people gobble them up, it will all make sense to you in the end, I promise. We also were children of the ’80s and watch a few Porky’s movies in our day as well.

My Air Fryer Pepper Jack Stuffed Porky’s is a meal that utilizes both the Instant Pot and Ninja Air Fryer for two tasty treats in one recipe. This Moroccan dish is a crazy good, fragrant, spiced meal. If you have the Ninja Foodi all in one, it will make this recipe even easier. The Mealthy Crisplid is also a wonderful addition to the Instant Pot 6 or 8 Qt.

So to get started you will want to slice your bratwurst in half lengthwise and stuff it with pepper jack cheese. I personally like to get the pepper jack cheese sticks to save time, but you can slice thick pieces off of a block of cheese as well.

Next, you will wrap the entire bratwurst in a slice of applewood smoked bacon because pigs and apples just go together. You can secure the ends with a water-soaked toothpick if needed. Here, I just made sure the end was tucked end for cooking.

Bake for 15-18 minutes in your Ninja Air Fryer at 350 degrees. Keep a close eye on them, you may need to rotate them with tongs, to prevent them from burning on the ends around the edges.

While those little piggies who go to town in the Air Fryer, you will also want to be cooking the Beer Buttered Vidalia onions so things time out properly. You will want to thinly slice 3 medium Vidalia onions. Lightly sauté onions in your Instant Pot for 5 minutes with 4 tbsp of butter to lightly caramelize.

Then you will add in one 12 oz beer of your choice. Seal the pot, and set to High-Pressure manual cook for 5 minutes. Allow Instant Pot to naturally vent when finished, which is approximately 10 minutes.

When all your ingredients are finished cooking assemble the Pepper Jack Stuffed Porky’s on hotdog buns topped with your Beer Buttered onions, and spicy brown mustard.
